These two are the reason I became a marriage celebrant! We were out at the Blue Pub one night and we were having a chat about their wedding. Anna was talking about how she was looking for a celebrant and I said, "I've been thinking that I could be one, would you let me be your celebrant if I became one?" This was followed by a lot of yeses and excitement!
Anna and Tony had their ceremony at the gorgeous Glendhu Station in Wanaka. The weather was just right. It was slightly over cast, but lovely and warm. They had their photos taken prior to their ceremony which meant that they had a later ceremony. Whilst taking their photos though Anna and Tony got absolutely soaked! They went through a ford in an open jeep a bit too quickly and water came over the windscreen and drenched them.. Poor Anna with her gorgeous hair and makeup.. She took it like a champ though!
Their ceremony went off without a hitch. There were many giggles and heartfelt moments. Everyone looked stunning. After the ceremony there were many glasses of bubbles and laughs to be had. A beautiful day that I wish we could do all over again!
